PRETTY IN PINK

Pretty in Pink MeMeMe

So today you get to stare at my face again.

It’s been a while since I last did a FOTD. I think my last one was Christmas! But spring is on it’s way and I’ve started to move away from my berry lips and eyeliner flicks.

My wardrobe for this season is based around blues, whites, grey and touches of berry. It’s all quite soft and muted. So I’ve also started toning down my face a bit, and leaning towards more natural looks.

For me, this means healthy-looking skin, good brows and lots and lots of PINK.

PINK ON THE FACE

So for this look I started off by applying Collection’s concealer in Fair under my eyes and over any blemishes.

Then I dotted the MeMeMe ‘Beat The Blues’ liquid highlighter (in Pearl Pink)* down my cheekbones and over the top of my brows and just blended this in with my fingers.

I wanted a really light base so chose my Rodial Instaglam Skin Tint in Capri (Light)*. It’s just a tinted moisturiser but it actually covers quite well, and blends like an absolute DREAM.

I finished my base off with a very light swipe of MeMeMe’s Shimmer Stack in Pink*. It’s halfway between a blusher and a highlighter and does a fab job of making me look all glowy ‘n healthy ‘n stuff!

PINK ON THE EYES

For the eyes, I used the MeMeMe baked eyeshadow quad in Opulent*. I swiped the pink and gold shades over the whole lid, and then also blended a tiny bit of the purple into the crease for a bit of definition.

The mascara is my all-time favourite. It’s No.7’s Exceptional Definition mascara in Black. I literally rave about this to everyone I meet. The formula is ace and the brush is uh-MAZING.

For my eyebrows: I use L’Oreal’s Brow Artiste Pencil in Blonde to define, and then just fill them in with a flat brush and Makeup Revolution’s eyeshadow in Mocha Love.

PINK ON THE LIPS

YOU GUYS LOOK! THERE’S A TORCH. IN THE LIPGLOSS.

I literally jumped about a foot in the air when I first unscrewed the lid off this haha! It’s actually called the Light Me Up Lipgloss*, but I assumed it was just a way of saying that your lips would be all glossy and “lit from within” etc.

Wasn’t expecting an actual light!

This shade is called Illuminate, and gives a really nice soft and natural lip.

So there you have it.

ALL THE PINK.

The perfect look for Spring. (And Wednesdays.)
