Happy Monday!
So I’ve been brainstorming.
For a while now, I’ve wanted to expand the idea of Happy Monday.
My 10 Good Things posts are ALWAYS the busiest day of my blog week, and they’re the one post people ALWAYS bring up when I first meet them.
(I’ve actually been called the Happy Monday Girl to my face before. So there’s that.)
My little friendly community is one of my most treasured things about this blog, and I really felt like there had to be a way to get you all involved in Happy Mondays. Somewhere everyone could come together with photos of their happy little (and big) moments, to create a feed full of happiness.
So I’ve started a new Instagram hashtag project: #LittleHappyMonday.
Basically it just involves everyone uploading a photo of their favourite Monday moment and tagging it with the hashtag. It can be small, big, a moment, an item, a person… anything that’s made you happy today! :)
I have plans for a short weekly newsletter once my rebrand is live, and once that’s up and running I’ll also be sharing a few of my favourite pics each week as well.
I just think it’s going to be a lovely way to connect with you all, and I can’t wait to see all your posts!
1. Pink roses! I love having fresh flowers in the house. I popped into Sainsbury’s on Friday and treated myself to some pretty pink rosebuds. So pretty! So pink! So yay!
2. Burgers and beers. I popped into the gluten-free food festival in Camden on Saturday with Loriley and Cat. We stuffed ourselves with Honest Burger’s completely gluten-free burgers in buns, with rosemary fries, onion rings and even gluten-free beer! So good.
3. Baxter. One of my clients at work brought in his newly adopted Staffie dog and he is B-E-A-yooootiful. So friendly and cuddly and lovely!
4. Sunday lie-ins. OH BOY OH BOY. I slept right through until 11:30am and it. was. blissful.
5. THESE LADIES RIGHT HERE. So much love for my Bangarang girls. We all trundled on down to Tortilla to help them make their Corona chandeliers by emptying a LOT of beer bottles for them. We laughed long and hard and ate all the burritos and nachos and over-indulged on the margaritas and then went and laughed some more. I grinned the whole way home.

6. Alone time. I spent Friday night, half of Saturday and all of Sunday alone. So alone. AAAAAALL BYYYYY MYYYYSEEEEEELF… (imagine me in my pyjamas drinking wine and singing along with Bridget Jones)(I wish I were joking)(This actually happened).
7. FLUFFY COWS. Makes me laugh every single time I look at them. LOL.
8. Playing with my camera! I’ve been playing with the setting and buttons and knobs (lol knobs) on my lovely new Olympus PEN and it just gets better and better. I’m especially loving the wifi feature, which means all my Instagram pics this week have been ON POINT. I’m so very happy with it! BEST. PURCHASE. EVER.
9. Talking my sister. We’ve been phoning each other a lot the past few weeks and it makes me happy every time. She’s such a babe.
10. Blogging in Starbucks. Quelle cliché. I had a lot of time to kill on Saturday between events so I headed to Starbucks for a few hours. Free coffee (my manager at work bought me a giftcard. What a babe!), free wifi, free electricity and lots of time by myself to get things done! :)
So, some of you may be wondering where the heck I’ve been this past week. (And others may A) not have noticed and B) not even care…)
Basically, after banging on about how I was going to be posting every day from now on, I hit a bit of a wall. And I realised that maybe I should get some sort of organisation and structure in place first. Because at the moment, my routine and planning is a bit all over the place!
So I’m building up a bit of a catalogue of posts so that, when I launch my new branding/design, I can hit the ground running with a backlog of content to get me started.
I’ve also (finallyyy) set up social media scheduling (all hail Meet Edgar!), got a bunch of spreadsheets and calendars set up AND finished planning out what fonts and colours and stuff I want.
So yeah. It may have been quiet for you guys, but it’s been a busy week for me!
The behind-the-scenes part of my site is finally looking all tidy and organised now, and hopefully things will be a lot more stream-lined and easier for me to keep on top of.
Have a very lovely week, and don’t forget to share your Happy Moments on Instagram with #LittleHappyMonday!
