My Favourite £9.99 Turtleneck Jumper

IT IS SO COLD RIGHT NOW.

What happened guys? We were doing so well, hurtling towards the blue skies and sunshine of Spring… and now we’re back to square one.

Freezing temperatures, bitter winds and SNOW. In LONDON.

I’m writing this at my work desk, cursing my flimsy polyester uniform, hugging the radiator, and counting down the hours until I can change back into my wooly jumper, jeans and socks.

I’ve bought four new jumpers in the last few weeks, and I’m not even sorry. They’re all I want to wear in this weather! (Along with jeans, socks, thermal tops, coats, scarves, gloves and bobble hats, obviously…)

I picked up this orange high-necked bundle of cosiness in New Look right before my trip to Warsaw in December. Since then, I’ve worn it a LOT.

In fact, I liked it so much, that I ordered it in green too.

…aaaaaand then I bought it in pink.

Oops.

I always do this.

Whenever I find a clothing item that I reaaaaally like, I’ll buy it in all the colours going. I’m so picky about styles and cuts, that when I find EXACTLY what I’m looking for, I feel like I have to stock up for life.

Seriously. I have two identical Lindy Bop dresses in different colours, three Boohoo ones, two Woolovers jumpers, two ASOS, three Primark blouses, two pairs of ASOS black ballet flats…

But here’s the thing. This jumper is so cosy and comfy that I want to wear it always. So I need more than one, right? (Someone agree with me here, please.)

It’s soft but not fluffy, loose but not baggy, and the neck is high enough to be flattering, but not so high that it feels like it’s strangling me.

I love the rusty orange colour too. The only colours other than black that usually feature in my wardrobe are blue, red and burgundy, so this is just a little bit different. And I really like it!

So there you go. BARGAIN.

Oh and a big shout out to my new bag as well.

I finally spent my La Redoute prize vouchers from the Bloggers Blog Awards (yay!), and this bag was at the top of my shopping list.

First of all: it’s black and SILVER. Do you know how hard it is to find black bags with silver hardware?!

Secondly, it’s surprisingly roomy. I can actually fit my Kindle, my camera AND my purse in all at once, which I thought was pretty impressive for a cross-body bag.
