Hello!
I hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend. What did you all get up to?
I’ve noticed recently that I rarely get any good posts up over the weekend. I’m usually too busy catching up with friends, Gary and chores to sit down at my laptop and write anything of quality.
But G’s just donated me his old laptop and I’m making it my new mission to take lots of photos of what I get up to during the week and then share them with you on a Sunday afternoon.
Just a small re-cap post of all the little things I’ve loved.
I hope you enjoy it!
Gary and I met my cousin and her husband for dinner on Friday night. We went to Porky’s BBQ near London Bridge, and I nursed my hangover with a huge pile of sticky BBQ ribs, a bowl of gooey mac’n’cheese (aaaand several rum cocktails…)
The food was delicious, the company great and the restaurant service fantastic. I even got a personalised doggy bag for my leftovers!

Yesterday was a really quiet day for us. But by 5 o’clock both Gary and I were getting bored and a bit stir-crazy, so he offered to teach me some guitar.
Now, I have no rhythm (as my tap dance teacher can attest) so that was a bit of a flop. But it was a really fun pass-time and a lovely way to spend some proper quality time together :)
The rest of our night involved pasta, Pimms and a whole lot of The IT Crowd. Rock’n’roll baby!
I’m OBSESSED with Ed Sheeran’s new album at the minute. My favourite songs are Nina, Tenerife Sea and Afire Love.
If you follow me on Instagram and/or Twitter you’ll have spotted this little beauty yesterday: my gorgeous new blog organiser!
I paid £2 in Wilkinson’s for the organiser and then 80p for a pack of Paris themed stickers to decorate it with. It’s got dividers marked Planner, Notes, To Do List and Addresses, as well as holding two plastic envelopes where I can stash post-its, spare stickers and some business cards.
Basically: a perfect bargain!
I can’t wait to start using it to properly plan my weekly blog posts and have all my to-do lists in one place.
Y’all know how much I like a home-made brunch. This was our delicious creation this morning: poached eggs and paprika-crusted salmon fillet with fresh giraffe bread. Divine!
I hope you liked this post :)
What do you think? Should I do a weekly re-cap on a regular basis?
