Happy Monday!
Gosh. Halfway through February already. How did that happen?!
Christmas was (nearly) two months ago and I’m not entirely sure what I’ve done since then. The weeks seem to be going by so quickly in a blur of activities, dinners, bottles of wine and much-needed sleep.
And flu. Let’s not forget that dang-blasted flu!
I think I’ve been poorly more times in the past two months than I’ve been in all the rest of my life put together. Funsies.
It seems like every week there’s some new problem that rears it’s head to say hello and wreck my plans…
My lovely Huge Sponsor and friend Laura got married yesterday and I had to bail on the reception party because fever and sneezing and chesty coughs.
(FYI, I’ve seen some Instagram snaps and she looked freaking gorgeous ♥ if you fancy giving her some wedding cheer, why not head over to her blog and say hi?)
Hey ho, onwards and upwards though eh?
This morning is the first day I’ve got to work and it’s been actually light.
Like, sun is actually up and it’s not pouring with rain LIGHT.
Spring is officially on it’s way you guys!
And I can’t freaking wait.
1. DIS T-SHIRT DOE. £6 bargain from Primark. My new favourite PJ top. ALL THE SASS.
2. Elderflower syrup. Ohmyfreakinggod. Erica and I celebrated Free Pancake Wednesday last week, something which I feel should become an official weekly event. More details coming tomorrow (PANCAKE DAY♥) but it involved gluten-free pancakes drenched in this delicious, delicious elderflower syrup that was pure nectar of the gods.
3. Pink flowers at work. Have I mentioned that SPRING IS ON THE WAY?!
4. The perfect blowdry I managed to give myself on Saturday night. I’ve discovered that if I actually properly dry my hair after washing it, it lasts much longer than when I just comb and go. I’ve managed to cut down to washing it every three days (with the help of some good old Batiste dry shampoo!) and so far it’s feeling healthier and looking shinier than it ever has before. Winner.
5. Catching up on the Great Comic Relief Bake Off. Joanna Lumley is such a legend. I loved Jennifer Saunders as well, her Idina cake was hilarious and brilliant. Very excited to see Zoella do her baking thang on there this week! #bloggerstakingovertheworld
6. My new smoothie maker. Spinach, blueberries, strawberries, soy yoghurt and kiwi were my choices last week, and today I started on apple, spinach (frozen), kiwi and blueberries. It’s so easy to use and clean, and means my poor old body is getting all sorts of exciting vitamins pumped into it every day. Which y’know, is AWESOME.
7. Australia’s oldest man (109!) has been knitting jumpers for penguins. They’re for penguins that have been affected by oil spills and OHMYGOD ALL THE ADORABLE.
8. My new long-sleeved LBD from Brave Soul via ASOS. An absolute bargain at £12 in the sale! I wore it with leopard print flats and a red lip in this Instagram pic and happiness was had by all (especially by me). It’s just so deliciously soft and comfy!
9. Two words: TAX. REBATE. *happy dance*
10. This B-E-A-yoooo-tiful mashup. Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud and Sam Smith’s I’m Not The Only One. I just… I can’t even.

I’ve listened to that video about 8 times in this morning alone. Casey Breves’ voice is DIVINE.
What have you all been doing/loving this week?? :)
