PIZZA, PROSECCO AND GAMES NIGHT

I like pizza. And I like prosecco.

You know this. I know this. I think by now, probably the WHOLE WORLD KNOWS THIS.

What you might not know is that I also love board games. Yup. I’m a massive games nerd.

My Mum’s side of the family has always been massively into them. When we go to my Gran’s house, we always end up doing puzzles, playing cards or busting out the Rummikub.

And whenever I go home to Spain we always spend the evenings laughing, drinking wine and playing Rummy or Cluedo or Frustration.

It’s a great way to spend time together as a family, and nowadays we can usually even blackmail my Dad into joining in, which is somewhat of a miracle!

So when Joe’s Bloggers got in touch to invite me along to a Games Night event, featuring pizza, prosecco and everyone’s favourite property investment board game, well…

Guess what I said?

(Yes. I said yes. Obviously.)

So first things first, let’s talk about how effing cool the Joe Blogs offices are!!!

A converted attice space with beams and wooden floors and diner booths and a pool table and a juke box and Twitter cushions and ARE YOU KIDDING ME.

Yeah. Awesome.

Next let’s talk about my team. Who were even more awesome.

I managed to grab a table with some of my favourites and we officially became the loudest and rowdiest of all the tables.

Which had absolutely NOTHING to do with the bottle of prosecco and several beers that James plunked down on our table.

Nope. Nothing at all…

A massive, massive thank you to the folk over at L&G Investments for sponsoring the event, as well as the lovely Joe Blog’s team for hosting us.

It was one of the funniest nights I’ve had in ages, and totally served to remind me of my love of board games.

Even if you think you’re not a fan?

Try adding a bunch of funny friends, a bottle of wine and some yummy Domino’s pizza, and then tell me you hate games.

Bet you can’t!!!
