I’m both incredibly excited and super duper nervous to share this with you guys!
My very first vlog. AARGH.
As y’all know, I was at home in Mallorca last week. I amassed a LOT of vlogging footage but most of it was unusable for one reason or another (ie: sound, jiggly cameras and my awful beginner’s attempt at talking…)
So on Monday I said: RIGHT. THAT’S IT. I’M DOING A PROPER VLOG TODAY. And here it is. I know it’s not perfect (far from it), so I’d love constructive criticism. But please take pity on a poor ol’ beginner and be nice about it yeah?
If nothing else: because it’s my biiiirthdaaaay tomorroooow!!!! (guess who’s excited?)
I went out for drinks with my uni ladies yesterday, and today Vicky and I have tickets for the Cake and Bake Show. Again: excitement. Because cake. Then Gary and I are going out for dinner tonight, somewhere quiet where we can chill out with food and wine and catch up on 2 weeks worth of news.
And then on Sunday it’s the actual day where I turn the actual age of 23. Which is an actually frightening prospect.
I plan on spending the day at the pub with a roast dinner, some form of English pudding (preferably involving custard) and a bottle of wine. Or two!
Have I mentioned how excited I am? I love birthdays.
