AND OH BOY WHAT A HAPPY MONDAY.
In case you haven’t seen my semi-hysterical tweets or Facebook messages yet: I’ve been shortlisted for a Bloggers Blog Award!
(And if you have seen my above-mentioned tweets and Facebook messages and are already sick to death of hearing about the BBAs: don’t worry, I’ma keep this real short!)
The Bloggers Blog Awards are being run by the lovely Hayley of Tea Party Beauty.
All the entrants have been nominated by bloggers and blog readers, and then a whole panel of bloggers have tallied up the (almost 500!) votes and helped shortlist the top 5 candidates in each category.
I’ve been nominated in the Up & Coming Lifestyle Blog category, alongside some of my absolute fave bloggers and I think I might still be in shock.
So I just want to say a massive, massive, MASSIVE thank you to all of you who voted for me!
It means such a lot to me.
And now I get to go up to Leeds on my birthday weekend and spend time with some of my fave blogger babes, and hang out at the awesome awards ceremony (which is being sponsored by Talented Talkers) and I cannot explain how happy and excited and grateful I feel.

1. Jaye and Tasha. I spent Saturday afternoon playing Musical Chairs with two of my fave blog ladies at Wonderground. Much chat was had, much cider was drunk and much Bleeker burger was stuffed into our faces. Total babes. You should go look at their blogs!
2. Family + baby cuddles. My cousin’s baby boy got christened yesterday. It was such a LOVELY ceremony, he was an absolute angel and I had many squishy cuddles! So lovely to see that side of my family again too :)
3. Hercules the Hedgehog. I spotted this little dude on my way to the train station after the Christening. ISN’T HE CUTE. I named him Hercules.
4. FDBlogger Meetup! Thursday was spent exploring Camden Market’s Night Festival and drinking all the gin. I got to catch up with a load of food blogger faves, as well as meet a bunch of people I’ve been hankering to meet for aaaages. So yeah. It was GREAT.
5. CHEESE FRIES. ‘Nuff said.
6. Rain. Sure, give it a couple of weeks and I’ll probably be moaning about the weather. Because I’m English and that’s what we do best. But right now? There’s nothing quite so delicious as snuggling into bed and listening to the rain on the roof.
7. Scrambled eggs and Star Wars. Gary and I spent Saturday morning watching Star Wars movies and eating the fluffiest scrambled eggs on toast that I think I’ve ever made. Winning.
8. The new John Lewis home insurance advert. I MEAN THIS IS JUST ALL ME. I AM THIS GIRL. I love it so much.
9. Exciting blog projects! I’m kicking things up a notch here at Little Miss Katy. I’m going to try posting 7 days a week, to see how that goes. I’ve got some MEGA exciting collaborations on the way. And I’m super pumped to make this little internet corner as awesome as I can. ENTHUSIASM. ALL THE ENTHUSIASM.

The coming week is looking pretty quiet for me.
The dreaded 4 day tube strike has meant I’ve had to cancel a couple of plans, but I’m still looking forward to dinner with Jasmin & Karen, and then Gary and I are going up North for the bank holiday weekend!
I haven’t been up for about a year now and I’m super excited about it. I love Yorkshire.
