Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a fab weekend :)
I had a really family-focused couple of days, meeting up with my brother, sister, cousins, parents and some old family friends I’d not seen since I was an ickle baby.
And it was LOVELY. Very relaxed, very fun and very filled with food and wine and smiles.
It’s left me feeling all sunny and happy, which is a pretty good omen for the fun-filled week I have planned!

1. #RASummer. I somehow wangled myself an invite to the blogger preview of the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition on Friday night and it was FABULOUS. Such colours, such shapes, such artistry! These stairs were actually one of my fave parts of the exhibition. Just because colour. And Instagram opportunities.
2. Chris Pratt. Not quite so artistic and cultured was my visit to see the new Jurassic Park film. Mainly because all I can really say about it is that Chris Pratt’s arms deserve a whole gallery exhibition to themselves. HUBBA HUBBA.
3. Family time. My Mum and Dad are in England this week for my brother’s graduation, so we all got together for a birthday party lunch yesterday. So many photos! So much wine! So much cake! I smiled non-stop and it was everything I could ever want from a Sunday.
4. Fresh sheets + tea in bed. Small things. But it feels so niiiiice!
5. Sugarhill Boutique. Erica’s been writing about Sugarhill Boutique for aaaages and I keep going over to look at their sale section and falling in love with almost half of it. I finally caved and bought this delicious polka dot fit and flare dress for £19. It fits like an absolute dream and I LOVE it.
6. New blog friends. I popped along to Caroline’s blog launch party on Saturday and it was sooo nice to finally meet her properly! :) I had chats with a whole bunch of other lovely people, and I’m already excited for brunch catchups next weekend. New friends are great.
7. Baconnaise. I know I’ve mentioned this before on a Happy Monday post… but guys. BACONNAISE. With sweet potato fries. In my face. In my belly. GBK done good.
8. Taylor Swift dance party… in my head. Cranked up the volume of 1989 on my iPod and had a little solo jam on the tube. Everyone in my carriage looked miserable and grey, but I felt sunny and happy and all kinds of smiley. T-Swizzle. What a babe.
9. BABY CUDDLES. Squishy, sleepy baby cuddles are the best kind of cuddles. Fact. (Especially when you know you can give him right back and don’t have to deal with the poop.)
10. This shoe. It’s a gold stiletto (in case anyone can’t see it). Just one. One gold high-heeled shoe, just chilling in the middle of a street in Mayfair, at 9am on a Thursday morning. I couldn’t resist snapping a pic. IT’S LIKE CINDERELLA IS REAL.

I’m out for dinner with my parents and Gary tonight which will be nice (I’m thinking of introducing them all to Rex & Mariano!).
Then I’ve got two exciting friend/blog events planned for Wednesday and Thursday, which promise to be HILARIOUS.
And my plan is to finish off the week by getting hold of a bunch of boxes and starting my packing.
Because guys guys guyyyyyys, I move in one month!
I’ve spent all morning drawing up lists of things I need to do, pack and buy before moving day arrives, and I really can’t explain how much I’m looking forward to it.
What are your plans for this week? :)
